Private Marketplace for Targeting Data

June 21 2010

Online targeting exchange provider eXelate has launched a private marketplace offering, known as teXi:PM, which will enable publishers to deal exclusively and directly with buyers including agencies, OEMs and direct advertisers.

The teXi:PM tool forms part of the firm's teXi:DM Data Management suite for publishers, which was launched in October last year. Publishers can use the exchange to create their own 'one-to-one transparent relationships' with data buyers, managing data access, marketing targeted data pools, setting data prices and closing data transactions all in their own web-based, branded environment with their own privacy management settings.

The new offering will act as a complement to eXelate's eXchange which connects publishers representing 150m unique visitors each month in an anonymous exchange with leading ad networks, demand-side platforms and agencies, giving the latter targeting opportunities and the former a new revenue source. Publisher WhitePages is gearing up to be one of the first users with its own Private Marketplace using teXi:PM.

CEO Meir Zohar says the new Private Marketplace is 'a perfect complement' to the open Data eXchange'.

The company is online at www.exelate.com .
