Kantar Video Hires for Videolytics Launch

Kantar Video has announced a number of senior hires in preparation for the global rollout of its Videolytics online and mobile video syndication, tracking and optimization platform.

Keir WaltonBased in New York, Kantar Video was created as a focus for Kantar's work in global online, mobile, and multi-channel video innovation. The Videolytics platform is currently in private beta, with launch of the public beta expected in the autumn. It will offer content identity, syndication, tracking, measurement, analytics, and optimization for marketers and their agencies, media companies, and content creators and distributors.

The management team including six new senior arrivals will report to Kantar Video CEO, William A. ('Bill') Lederer, a veteran digital media and technology senior executive appointed in May. Lederer's experience of video, Internet, TV, mobile, advertising/marketing and information services comes from leadership roles at firms including Kantar Media, TNS and Getty Images. Most recently, he was COO of Kantar Media Audiences North America, and Global Chief Development Officer, Kantar Media Audiences.

Keir Walton, who joins as Senior Vice President, Business Development, was formerly EVP of WPP's sponsorship, promotional partnership and branded entertainment subsidiary IEG.

Anne Drake, previously SVP, Product Management at Kantar Media | Audiences, joins as SVP, Analytics & Research. She will use her extensive experience in the measurement and analysis of emerging media to design a comprehensive set of analytics and optimization tools, while working with other Kantar businesses to integrate online and mobile video insights into their own product suites.

Jamison Tilsner joins in the role of Evangelist. Formerly COO of online entertainment specialist Tubefilter, he will promote the firm's efforts in online and mobile video, and will facilitate business development among content creators, content distributors and others.

Digital media strategist and entrepreneur Andrew Chang also joins as a business developer. Most recently, he served as an advisor to startups including DashMob and Looxii. Previously he founded digital media company Rogue Media, and Senior Manager, Customer Insights and Strategic Research at 360i.

Andrew Cheng joins in the role of Platform Manager, with responsibility for defining and developing the client user experience for the Videolytics platform. Most recently, he was Director of Advanced Analytics for Kantar Media | Audiences, developing analytics software for set-top box data.

Trevor Wolfe is the new Marketing Manager: he joins from Kantar Media where he worked as a Digital Project Manager, helpin with the transition of TNS Media's North American operations to Kantar Media; and worked in a team responsible for the conception and building of viral measurement system Echo Video.
