beRelevant Launches Crowdsourcing Service

July 7 2010

In the US, social media monitoring specialist beRelevant has introduced a market research service to extract and prioritize the collective knowledge of large numbers of people.

Randy HamiltonbeRelevant's SaaS collective intelligence platform (also called beRelevant) is based on patent-pending qual-to-quant technology. The new service engages participants in a survey to collect and simultaneously prioritize open-ended comments. According to CEO Randy Hamilton, this enables users to hear verbatim prioritized insights for 'virtually any size of audience'.

The tool can be used to convert qual data into quant data, deliver verbatim along with interpreted results, and identify the biggest influencers and what they are saying.

Additionally, results can be viewed at a macro priority level, or drilled down to reveal individual insights.

'This new hybrid approach gives organizations the ability to quickly and cost-effectively pose questions to a large audience and then capture and simultaneously prioritize the full range of that audience's comments, opinions, needs, and wants,' states Hamilton.
