Webtrends Partners for End-to-End Ad Optimization

August 27 2010

Webtrends and paid search management specialist Marin Software have announced a partnership integrating elements of their technology to provide a new online marketing analysis and optimization package, Webtrends Ads.

Alex YoderMarin focuses on paid search keyword data. Its flagship product, Marin Search Marketer targets the workflow, analysis, and optimization needs of large-scale advertisers and agencies, promising to save time and improve financial performance.

Building on the Webtrends Ad Director product, the latest launch offers clients an end-to-end data-driven solution for creating, measuring and improving performance marketing acquisition across global search networks, the Google Display Network, and Facebook Ads, in one tool.

The product combines Marin's campaign management platform and Webtrends digital marketing optimization products and services, and offers features including optimization across multiple conversion metrics or margin-based bid goals; landing page optimization; and behavior-based personalization of content.

Support for international campaigns is included, with the platform available in English, German, French and Japanese, and facilities for trafficking of keywords for campaigns anywhere in the world. The partners plan support for Baidu, Naver and other emerging API-enabled networks soon.

Webtrends claims to be 'the first company to offer application and ad creation, bid optimization and measurement for Facebook in a single platform.' CEO Alex Yoder says his firm's new partner Marin is 'the ideal technology platform to leverage to deliver the best performance marketing optimization solution possible' for customers.

Marin founder and CEO Chris Lien comments: 'The proliferation of analytics tools, content platforms and publisher channels has made the process of digital marketing extremely complex and fragmented for the advertiser'. He believes the partnership with Webtrends means advertisers 'can now easily manage their digital marketing efforts using consistent business metrics across the enterprise and deliver increased financial performance, efficiency and control.'
