In the US, former Targetbase executive Ernie Kim has joined Synovate’s Marketing Management Analytics (MMA) business as Senior Vice President & Analytics Officer.
Parent firm Aegis merged
MMA into Synovate in 2008, with the aim of enhancing the marketing and research synergies between the two companies. The division provides marketing mix modeling expertise to help clients plan and optimize their marketing performance.
Kim joins from business intelligence agency Targetbase, where as VP of Strategic Business Analysis, he led the telecoms and utility verticals. Previously, he held leadership and consultancy roles in both digital analytics and brand strategy at Interbrand, Cogentry and GroupM.
In a statement, MMA said that Kim’s expertise in web analytics will further enhance its position in the measurement of digital media ROI.
‘Our clients’ marketing strategies and analytic needs are changing at a very fast pace, and it became clear to me from our first conversation that Ernie was far and away the best candidate to join our management team,’ states CEO Randy Stone, to whom Kim will report.
