Manthan Systems Expands to Aus and NZ

Retail analytics solutions provider Manthan Systems has opened a new office in Melbourne, which will support demand for the firm's ARC Retail Business Intelligence products in Australia and New Zealand.

The Bangalore-based company produces analytic solutions for global retail and CPG organizations. Its ARC suite comprises products such as merchandising, customer, and supplier collaboration analytics.

Back in 2007, IDG Ventures India invested $2m in Manthan Systems, and last year Manthan raised a further $15m in series B funding.

The new office will be led by Paul Foxcroft, who recently joined Manthan Australia as Vice President for Business Development. In his new role, he will oversee a dedicated local team, while utilising offshore resources for global clients.

'With Paul's appointment, we will be able to forge ahead with our new business development efforts - a key milestone in the overall strategy of our development in the ANZ region,' states CEO and MD Atul Jalan (pictured).

'Australia is an important market for us and we enjoy a good deal of business success here as Australian retailers realise the importance of retail analytics and the power it provides them in taking strategic decisions,' he adds.
