Nick Palmer is moving from Hall & Partners London to lead the firm's new Sydney, Australia-based brand and comms research joint venture with Open Mind.
In the newly-created role of Sydney Research Director, Palmer will manage a team of quantitative researchers and major Engager projects for Hall & Partners | Open Mind's clients in the finance, alcohol and tourism sectors. In Hall & Partners' London office he spent the last six years as a Senior Director working on tracking projects for the Lloyds Banking Group. Prior to this, he spent four years with Millward Brown/BMRB.
The new firm's CEO, Dr Vicki Arbes, says Palmer has been 'living and breathing brand and advertising research' for more than ten years, and adds: 'Nick's perspective, drive and leadership skills will be invaluable to us in meeting the demands of a growing number of clients.'
The new agency has 30 staff based in Melbourne and Sydney, plus offices in Shanghai and Singapore, and is owned equally by Diversified Marketing Services, Hall & Partners Europe (wholly owned by
