Government Intelligence Agency INPUT Acquired

In the US, enterprise software and solutions specialist Deltek is to acquire public sector intelligence firm INPUT in an all-cash deal worth $60m.

Peter CunninghamEstablished in 1974 in Reston, VA, INPUT has nearly 200 employees and had revenues of $26.2m for 2009 - an increase of 13% from 2008. The company specializes in helping clients identify and develop new business opportunities with federal, state and local government and other public sector organizations.

The firm recently released the Vendor Intelligence Program, designed to analyze government suppliers and their position in the federal contracting market.

Deltek works with government contractors and professional services firms to automate business processes around the engagement, execution and delivery of projects.

Deltek will combine its GovCon Clarity reports - which analyze financial management, project management and best practices - with INPUT's government market analysis and insight reports.
