Former J.D. Power President Joins Outsell

In the US Outsell, which offers research and advisory services for the information and publishing industries, has appointed former J.D. Power President Steve Goodall as EVP and board member.

Goodall, who is also a minority investor in the company, will report to the firm's co-founder and CEO, Anthea Stratigos.

Goodall has 30 years' experience as an executive at J.D. Power and Associates, and was President from 1996-2008, helping position the firm for sale to The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc. and then acting as a special advisor to the new President of J.D. Power and to the President of the Media and Information segment at McGraw-Hill, while also helping to develop new social media products.

He holds an MBA from the University of Southern California and bachelor's degrees in psychology and business administration from California State University, Chico.
