Flood of Enquiries for Australian IAB

October 11 2010

A total of 21 companies have registered an interest in bidding for the Australian IAB's recently announced online audience measurement tender.

The IAB, which aims to select one company as the sole and exclusive preferred supplier for the planning, buying and reporting of OAM in the country for a three-year term, said the would-be providers included companies from Australia, Canada, India, Israel, the UK and the US.

The registration period has now closed and tender documents will be sent out today. Vendors must make final submissions by 5pm ADST on 17th December 2010. These will be reviewed by a Technical Review Group (TRG) chaired by audience measurement veteran Ian Muir, with the aim of finalising the process in the first half of 2011.

Quoted on marketing site www.mumbrella.com.au , IAB CEO Paul Fisher said: 'To have such a strong and quick response from a veritable united nations of OAM suppliers vindicates our decision and timing to issue the tender process.'
