uSamp Technology to Drive JD PowerPanel

In the US, JD Power and Associates has partnered with online sample firm uSamp to develop an online panel expanding its existing survey-based customer satisfaction and product quality research.

Kevin KeeganJD Power's services include market research, forecasting, performance improvement, web intelligence and customer satisfaction studies. Following the agreement with uSamp, the firm will roll out the JD PowerPanel during the fourth quarter of 2010, adding to the demographic and geographic range of its online survey respondents.

'The JD PowerPanel will augment our existing sources of online panel engagement to provide more robust sample volumes and enhanced diagnostics for our research,' states Kevin Keegan, SVP of Global Research Operations at JD Power and Associates. 'Integrating our traditional voice-of-the-customer research with other qual and quant sources drawn from social media, mobile devices and mystery shopping will enhance our capabilities.'

uSamp operates an existing panel that includes more than 3.1 million consumers around the globe. Co-founder and CEO Matt Dusig says that his firm's Software-as-a-Service technology provides companies like JD Power with a platform to enhance their research efforts.
