Kantar's Videolytics Arrives at Public Beta

October 29 2010

In New York, WPP-owned Kantar Video has rolled out the beta release of its Videolytics online and mobile video tracking technology.

Bill LedererKantar Video was launched in May to introduce a suite of video measurement and tracking tools.

Its Videolytics solution - which was recently tested by seventeen 'Videolytics Preferred Partners' - is combined with attitudinal data from consumer platforms operated by other Kantar businesses. This, the firm says, provides a detailed picture of who is watching what, when, where, and how they are engaging with online video.

The system is underpinned by several technologies including proprietary fingerprinting which tracks all instances of online video, no matter where or how it is distributed, as well as linkages to proprietary Kantar online access panels to enable deep audience profiling.

It is a Software as a Service (SaaS) open platform which can be integrated with various online and offline tools and services.

For instance, the solution has already been integrated into 'Echo Video' - created with sister firms Cymfony and Compete - to provide complete analysis of viral video impact and returns.

'Kantar Videolytics offers the most comprehensive syndication, tracking and optimization platform dedicated to effectively and efficiently measure and monetize online and mobile video worldwide,' claims Bill Lederer (pictured), CEO of Kantar Video. 'We look forward to announcing even more innovation over the next several quarters as we help bridge the demand and supply sides of the market.'

Videolytics is now available for free trial at www.KantarVideo.com .
