PR Firm Hires Consumer Insights Leader

November 16 2010

In the UK, PR and comms consultancy Twelve Thirty Eight has appointed qual veteran Clare Wade as Research Associate, responsible for all consumer insights underpinning its campaigning and corporate responsibility work, as well as new product announcement planning.

Clare WadeWade began her career in the London ad agency sector, working for TBWA, CDP and BBH as an account planner. She moved into qual research with HPI International, before joining Hall Advertising in Edinburgh, where she set up an in-house research centre for the agency.

After this, Wade established her own research consultancy, Mindspace (originally known as Clare Wade Research), specialising in qual research with an emphasis on marketing and communications.

Her specialisms include online qual research, using web conference technology to carry out focus groups and depth interviews worldwide. During her career, she has also specialised in pre-testing, web site usability, questionnaire development and evaluation, concept development, written materials evaluation, and consumer panels.

In addition to Wade's appointment, Twelve Thirty Eight has hired Jeremy Duncan as Director of Strategy and Services, from brand consultancy Radius, where he served as MD.

Commenting on the appointments, MD Hamish Thompson said: 'Twelve Thirty Eight is experiencing strong growth and I'm delighted to announce Jeremy and Clare's appointments. Both have a wealth of experience that will be key to our mission of catalysing positive conversations about our clients online, on air, on the page and on the move.'
