LiveWorld Debuts Moderated Social Media Analysis

November 18 2010

Social network marketing company LiveWorld has introduced an opinion analysis service, which combines technology with human moderators who review customer posts in context.

Peter FriedmanLiveWorld is headquartered in San Jose, California with additional offices in New York City and London. The firm helps clients create, manage and moderate communities - on Facebook, brand sites, or anywhere online.

Earlier this year, LiveWorld rolled out a survey application to enable brands to test new product ideas using crowdsourcing on Facebook.

Its new module - Moderation Server, which is part of its existing LiveWorld Facebook Wall moderation service - enables moderators to tag user comments as positive or negative, and highlight product mentions.

'Our brand clients told us they need content reviewed by human eyes in context, but also want efficient, flexible insight into their customer's dialogue,' explains Chairman and CEO, Peter Friedman. 'LiveWorld's unique combination of human moderators and advanced technology is the Internet equivalent of sending an army of researchers into stores to listen to and ask questions of consumers.'
