Social Strategy1 Hires Social Media Monitoring Expert

US-based social media intelligence firm Social Strategy1 has appointed Steve Ennen as President and Chief Intelligence Officer.

Steve EnnenSocial Strategy1 helps clients design marketing strategies using social media. Its listening analysts (SMLA) use search engine marketing methods and social media monitoring tools to interact with influencers on clients' behalf.

Ennen is a digital media specialist with more than 15 years' experience from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, where he was Founding MD of the Wharton Interactive Media Initiative (WIMI) and the Wharton Lab for Innovation in Publishing. He is a Lecturer in Marketing at the Wharton School and was responsible for the development of curricula in emerging media and interactive media strategies at the Wharton School for both MBA program and Executive Education courses.

Before this, Ennen was VP, Digital Business Strategies at American Business Media, where he advised media and marketing companies on digital transformation, video and mobile messaging, social networks and development of digital revenue strategies. He also served as a Consultant and Business Development Executive for social networking firm Neighborhood America (now Ingage Networks).
