Cint Expands Presence in Germany

In Germany, online sample exchange Cint has moved its existing Berlin-based team to new premises, and opened a new office in Augsburg.

Cint, which is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, provides market researchers with fully automated access to panels of 4 million profiled individuals across 40 countries. The firm also has offices in the US, Canada, Spain, Denmark, Russia, the Netherlands and the UK.

Earlier this year, the company secured a $13m investment, which it has earmarked for expanding the business in both new and existing markets, extending its product portfolio and strengthening its team.

Berlin will remain its headquarters for Central Europe with a focus on business, sales and marketing, while in Augsburg the team will be mainly responsible for project management and client support.

The two teams will be led by Norman Behrend, who is stepping into the role as MD for Central Europe, including Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Before joining the firm, he worked for Ciao Surveys, Mintel and the Daily Mail Group.
