January 6 2011

US translation and transcription tech firm Language Logic is to establish a presence in the European market, to focus on sales of its Ascribe products and services and its soon-to-be-launched text analytics solution.

Rudy Bublitz and Kevin GrimmerRudy Bublitz, VP of Global Business Development, will lead the effort to build the firm's presence in Europe, which he describes as a 'critical growth area' for Ascribe in 2011. Bublitz, who has been with the firm for the last ten years, will now spend most of his time in Europe, and be based in London.

'Rudy has tremendous experience working with our global clients,' stated COO Rick Kieser. 'Having him based in London this year will be a significant benefit to us as well as our clients.'

The push in Europe is being supported by Kevin Grimmer, who has been hired as Vice President, Sales based in the Cincinnati Ohio office. Language Logic's new text analytics product, which will be launched in the first quarter, has been developed to enable clients to conduct broad analysis on massive amounts of textual content, as well as the ability to perform more in depth analysis of the content through Ascribe's coding capabilities.
