Firms Link for Advanced Conversation Mining

In the US, Sentiment360 - a social media monitoring and analytics company whose product is based around input from human analysts - has partnered with artificial intelligence text mining technology firm Enkia Corporation.

Professor Ashwin RamEnkia's web application software makes use of cognitive science and machine learning research to make sense of large amounts of web information.

Sentiment360 CEO and founder Gary Cooper says that integrating Enkia's technology into his firm's solutions will provide semantic search capabilities which will give users real-time access to social media and other online conversations and trends and allow them to predict positive and negative conversation trends.

Enkia's founder Professor Ashwin Ram (pictured) states: 'We see this as a perfect blend of technology, marketing, and research that will drive the next generation of social media. All businesses are looking for the most accurate and cost effective methods of monitoring the massive amounts of online unstructured data, and our product offerings address those needs using the latest natural language processing techniques.'
