InsightExpress has announced the launch of the Ignite Network, which integrates access to sample from a series of online panel provider partners. The firm says it will also improve data integration and methodological rigor in online ad effectiveness and cross media research.
Benefits include greater control over sample criteria and the removal of the need for pop-up survey invites; seamless bridging of attitudinal, online behavioral and off-line conversion data; and better data available for media analytics.
The Network includes more than ten million respondents and offers client of InsightExpress’s media measurement solutions AdInsights and Cross Media Symphony a panel resource to enhance their research. Ignite also boasts improved privacy controls to protect respondents.
The company says one of the key benefits of the Network is ‘the ability to survey respondents exposed to an online advertisement after a significant passage of time, in order to better understand issues like advertising decay’ – previously ‘impossible’ due to limitations of cookie technology.
Marc Ryan, SVP, Chief Research Officer at InsightExpress, says the Network’s partnerships ‘bring together multiple industry leading panel partners to benefit all stakeholders within the media, advertising and research industry’, not only bringing smarter research techniques but also ‘improving the environment in which research is conducted.’
Applaud the company’s investment Kate Sirkin, EVP Global Research at Starcom MediaVest Group, says Ignite means InsightExpress has ‘begun to overcome some of the challenges that the industry identified in the last couple of years in online ad effectiveness research’. She highlights response rates, consumer experience, panel quality and analytical techniques.
Chairman and CEO William Lipner stresses the investment the company has made in developing Ignite, which he calls a ‘revolutionary offering’, and adds: ‘Our recently enhanced research platform is now supported by a highly sophisticated data warehouse solution powered by Dell, Aster Data, and Akamai. The unique combination of large scale panel access, extraordinary processing power and a decade of knowledge, data and experience in advertising research make the Ignite Network unparalleled in the industry.’
