Dlvr.it Launches Demographic Analysis for Social Media

In the US, social web content management firm Dlvr.it has launched a proprietary demographic analysis service, which produces insight into the make-up of the most engaged users of real-time content streams.

Bill FlitterDlvr.it's solutions provide bloggers, publishers and brands with a way to expand their reach on the social web and into new channels, while managing and measuring the flow of content wherever a client's audience is located.

Its new service provides demographics on users of social media audiences, RSS feeds, mobile and paid media syndication, with data including age, gender, household income, education level, ethnicity and number of children in a household.

This data is aggregated from several sources and is then compared to the Internet average to deliver a clear picture of how an audience compares to the Internet 'at-large'.

This, the firm says, enables marketers to gain insight into the audience segments most engaged with their brand.
