TRAFFIQ Adds Peer39 Semantics for Page Targeting

February 25 2011

In New York, digital media planning firm TRAFFIQ has partnered with semantic advertising technology specialist Peer39, to target consumers with ads that are 'truly relevant' to the page content and type of page they are viewing.

Chris O'HaraTRAFFIQ's technology analyzes every web page to facilitate the buying and selling of display media by advertisers, ad agencies and publishers; while Peer39 uses natural language processing and machine learning to increase the value of online content.

By adding the latter's processes to the TRAFFIQ platform, the pair say that clients will be able to integrate semantic data into their real-time media buying strategies.

Andy Ellenthal, Peer39 CEO, states: 'We provide data about the environment of every web page we see, allowing TRAFFIQ's customers to run large-scale, high-performance and brand safe campaigns and because we are a cookie-less solution, there are no privacy concerns for advertisers, publishers, or consumers.'

Chris O'Hara (pictured), TRAFFIQ's SVP of Sales and Marketing, adds that the partnership will not only offer the ability to target specific content, but will also enable advertisers to filter out inappropriate content.
