Futures Co. Hires Former Orange Strategist

WPP-owned global trend research consultancy The Futures Company has appointed former Orange exec Patrick Harris as a Director in its UK operation.

The consultancy, which was created through the merger of Henley Centre HeadlightVision and Yankelovich, specializes in futures and trends, future-facing research and innovation, and segmentation, quantitative analysis and modelling. The firm has teams in the UK, US, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and India.

Most recently, Harris ran his own consultancy, thoughtengine. Prior to this, he worked at telecom giant Orange as Director of 'Creaticity', working directly for CEO Hans Snook, during which time, he helped found the Orange Strategic Think Tank, which underpinned the firm's groupwide strategy.

He is an Honorary Life Member of Medinge, a brand think tank focused on furthering the humanitarian efforts of brands and their organisations, and also a founding member of Leadership Works, a Holland-based think tank focused on the future of leadership.
