Visible Intelligence Upgrade Spots Influencers

Social intelligence specialist Visible Technologies has added new features to its platform, to enable users to identify the most relevant online influencers posting on social media sites.

Kelly PennockVisible Technologies, which operates in London, Seattle and New York, has developed a platform through which to gather social media insights and deliver improvements in competitive and brand intelligence. Last year the firm secured $22m in Series C funding, to further strengthen its platform and expand into international markets.

Its latest enhancements include an influencer identification module, which automatically calculates influence by evaluating audience reach, author engagement in the community, presence of the author, and the site's ability to bring a larger audience to that author.

In addition, the upgrade enables the user to mine competitive analytics to identify competitor themes and asses the strength of messages, among other uses.

'Our Visible Intelligence platform aggregates social media content from almost every conceivable source, enhances it with business focused analytics, and then enables its distribution for use across the enterprise,' explains CEO Kelly Pennock.
