Southgate is MB's Third Global Brand Director

In the UK, Millward Brown has appointed company veteran Duncan Southgate as Global Brand Director for Digital - the third of five such newly created roles planned across the company.

Duncan SouthgateSouthgate joins Rob Hernandez and John Svendsen - Global Brand Directors for qual practice Firefly and for Media respectively - who took up the first two of the five roles earlier in the year.

Throughout his 17 years at Millward Brown in the US and UK, Southgate has focused on digital research. He previously ran numerous US online ad research studies and recently played an instrumental role in the launch of IDEABLOG, an online qual-quant research forum for idea development.

Southgate moves to his new role in April, from his current position as Global Innovation Director of the firm's Global Solutions team, and will be based at Millward Brown's Warwick office in the UK. He comments: 'I'm excited to be helping evolve our future offer, as digital behaviour and solutions for social media and mobile become ever more core to the insights we deliver to clients'.
