Kinesis Adds Panel Diary Function

March 11 2011

US-based survey and panel management software firm Kinesis Survey Technologies has added a new 'Diary Campaign' feature to its panel management solution, to enable users to track panellist participation metrics.

Leslie TownsendHeadquartered in Austin, TX, Kinesis develops survey and panel management software for all modes of interviewing, including web and mobile platforms.

At the beginning of the year, the firm opened a European office in London, where it appointed former NEBU and Intellex exec Tariq Mirza as Managing Director of European Operations.

Kinesis Panel is a multimode (web/mobile) panel management software solution, which is suited for both panels with millions of panelists and small enterprise-based and customer-based market research online communities (MROCs).

Its new feature enables users to measure minimum/maximum number of survey completes for a given time period, while tracking target quotas, participation by respondent, and participation over time.

Through the Diary Campaign solution, users can create diary projects, implemented and managed throughout the diary's lifecycle. Ongoing participation analytics are available with reports that can be generated in real-time, filtered, and exported in .csv format.

'The diary component is often overlooked in panel management solutions,' explains the firm's President, Leslie Townsend. 'We believe it will gain increasing prevalence with the advent of mobile apps, increased use of communities, and implementation of scanning technologies for market research.'
