B2B International Opens Sales Office in Brussels

March 17 2011

Global business-to-business market research and intelligence specialist B2B International has opened a sales office in Brussels. The firm has also added new recruits in the UK, US and China.

Nick HagueIn addition to its Head Office in Manchester, UK, the company has subsidiaries in Beijing and New York as well as sales offices in London and Shanghai, and an affiliate office in Moscow.

Earlier this month, the firm reported 2010 revenue up to £3.8m from £3.5m in 2009, driven by its US subsidiary which saw 58% year-on-year growth during the period, while the company's UK/mainland Europe operation grew 8%.

MD Nick Hague (pictured) explains the reason for opening the new operation: 'While our Manchester and London offices have been hugely successful in meeting the needs of our UK and other European clients, we recognise the benefits a mainland European office will have in terms of our responsiveness to client demands.'

The agency has also appointed economics graduate Kyle Cockett as a Research Executive in its UK team; research veteran Gerry Caffrey as Research Manager and former insurance broker Daniel Attivissimo as Research Analyst in New York; and consumer research specialist Aubo Lee as Research Manager in China.

Caffrey joins with more than 20 years' B2B research experience, having previously worked as a consultant in PwC's Strategy & Change practice, and then a Global Telecom Industry Analyst in IBM's market intelligence division. He also worked as a Senior Market Analyst at intellectual property consultancy Thinkfire Services.
