In the UK, consumer insight and sensory specialist MMR Research Worldwide has promoted Mark Sismey to the newly created role of Innovation Director, tasked with identifying, evaluating and delivering the latest technology and data collection tools.
MMR Research Worldwide is part of the Oxfordshire-headquartered MMR Group, which also has offices in New York. The firm provides clients in the food, drink and personal care sectors with sensory research, product testing, NPD and emotion-based research.
Sismey has worked for MMR for seven years, and was previously Research Director overseeing several global FMCG accounts.
In his new role in charge of the dedicated innovation function, he is responsible for looking into new ways of analysing and presenting data, as well as driving forward the development of new methodologies to support MMR’s global client account teams.
Sismey will report to MD Mat Lintern, who comments: ‘We are very excited to announce the new Innovation Director position. The role will allow us to build on our track record of online and methodological innovation within MMR and its online research arm, Qubiq; not only improving what we currently offer, but also driving forward developments that will allow us to bring a whole new range of solutions to our clients.’
