In the US, online reputation monitoring firm RatePoint has appointed Keith Cooper as President and Chief Executive Officer.

RatePoint’s web-based services include real-time tools to collect customer feedback and testimonials from social media and review sites. The firm also offers e-mail marketing, survey and dispute resolution capabilities to enable clients to collect, manage and promote customer feedback directly from their web sites.

Cooper (pictured) joins from data backup specialist Carbonite, where he served as COO. Prior to this, he was President and CEO of web analytics firm webHancer Corporation, where he led the firm’s sale to Microsoft. During his career, Cooper also served as CEO of Critical Path/Faxnet, and as MD of venture capital firm VIMAC Ventures.
