Leapfrog Hires MD to Lead Expansion

In the UK, Leapfrog Research & Planning has hired former GlaxoSmithKline marketer Tim Brooks for the new role of Managing Director, with responsibility for helping drive the firm through a period of anticipated growth and expansion.

Tim BrooksLeapfrog, which was acquired by marcoms group Cello in 2005, offers qual, quant and digital research and is structured around three sectors of expertise: retail; health and wellbeing; and branding, communications and media.

Brooks joins from pharmaceutical giant GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), where he served as UK Marketing Director, Consumer Healthcare, responsible for innovation and advertising projects for brands such as Panadol. Prior to this, he helped launch strategy and innovation consultancy Distillery, which specializes in insight and ethnographic research.

Earlier in his career, Brooks held leadership roles at a number of agencies including packaging and design consultancy DIA, where he was Planning Director.
