Askia Appoints Leader for New German Office

European market research software firm Askia has opened a new office in Mannheim, Germany, where it has appointed former Voxco director Dietmar Dzierzawa as Managing Director.

Patrick GeorgeAskia, which was founded in 1994, also has offices in the UK, US, Belgium and France. The firm offers solutions for questionnaire design, telephone, online, face-to-face surveys, and statistical analysis for CAPI, CATI or CAWI studies.

Last year, custom panel and community specialist Verve added survey scripting and data analysis functionality to its VERVE Engine platform, by integrating it with Askia's software.

Dzierzawa joined Askia last October with 15 years' market research industry experience. Prior to joining, he was Sales Director for research software firm Voxco, where he worked for nearly nine years.

In his new role, Dzierzawa is responsible for sales and operations in Germany and Eastern Europe.
