PRS Hires Former Harris Director Alki Manias

In the UK, consumer specialist Perception Research Services International (PRS) has appointed former Harris Interactive director Alki Manias as Vice President, Account Manager in its London office.

Alki ManiasNew Jersey, US-based PRS, which was founded in 1972, specializes in consumer research to develop, assess and improve packaging systems. The firm conducts more than 800 studies annually including on-shelf packaging assessments, in-store, online and eye tracking.

In addition, PRS partnered with neuroscience firm EmSense two years ago, to offer bio-sensory measures within quant packaging research studies.

In his new role, Manias will develop and execute research for CPG clients. He joins from Harris Interactive, where as a Director in the firm's London office he was responsible for consumer and shopper research. Prior to this, he served briefly as SVP, European Sales and Business Development at e-Rewards, after a spell as MD of YouGovCentaur.

Earlier in his career, Manias spent four years at GfK Roper as Global Director in charge of sales and marketing, and three years as MD UK/European VP for Internet usage measurement firm NetValue.
