ETHNOS Rolls Out UK Ethnic Minority Panel

UK agency ETHNOS - which conducts research with people from minority ethnic communities - has rolled out a new panel with more than 20,000 members.

Established in 2000, London-based ETHNOS estimates that the UK's ethnic minority population currently numbers 15% of the total populace, and predicts this will rise to 25% by 2051.

Members of the firm's new ETHNOS Online panel have been recruited via mixed methodology - both online and via a field force of interviewers deployed with handheld electronic devices.

The panel can be segmented by ethnic groups (Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Black Caribbean, Black African, Chinese, Eastern European and Mixed), by faith communities (Muslim, Hindu, Christian, Sikh and Other), and by a full range of demographic, attitudinal and behavioural metrics.

MD Hamid Rehman comments: 'For years, we've been saying that the ethnic voice needs to be heard and now we have a platform to deliver their messages to the boardrooms of the companies that fail to recognize the importance of the growing population.'
