Synovate BC Names Leaders for MENA and India

Synovate Business Consulting (BC) has expanded in the Middle East / North Africa (MENA) region with the promotion of Karthik Ramamurthy to oversee the MENA and India regions, and the appointment of Rashid Al Banna to lead the UAE and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia markets.

Synovate BC helps clients enter and expand in emerging and developing markets through fact-based market analysis. Areas of specialism include market opportunity assessment, competitive analysis, new product development and value chain analysis.

Ramamurthy has been promoted from his previous role as Head of Synovate BC India, responsible for the division's business based in Mumbai. Prior to this, he held senior positions at Reliance Infocomm and the Boston Group.

Before joining the group in January, Al Banna worked for 17 years, as a management consultant, including spells as Senior Consultant at PKF: The Consulting House, and as Investment Promotion Consultant at government agency SAGIA, where he audited and assessed sector-based research studies.

'We have been remotely servicing clients in MENA for a long time' says Ramamurthy, 'and to further give impetus to our presence, we have recruited Al Banna as another senior resource for our clients there'.
