ICM Direct Appoints Online Research Leader

In the UK, Creston-owned ICM Direct has appointed former Research Now panel specialist Pat McCarthy as Head of its online research division.

Part of ICM Group, which was founded in 1989 and acquired by Creston in 2006, the firm provides telephone survey data collection, SMS and IVR surveys, and qual depth interviewing services, as well as the 130,000-strong newvista panel.

McCarthy joins from Research Now, where he worked most recently as Client Development Director. He began his career at NOP, specialising in customer satisfaction and retail research programmes, before moving to Ipsos MORI to help develop and sell online panel solutions.
