UK-based agency Virtual Surveys has re-branded under the name 'Join the Dots', which it says reflects its growth and development, as well as its evolving business focus.
Founded in 1998 by former RI Director Pete Comley (pictured), Virtual Surveys pioneered web site research in Europe, and now also provides advertising, customer experience, product and service optimisation and online communities.
The firm, which has an annual turnover of approximately £4m, employs around 50 staff at its offices in Manchester and in Hook, Hampshire.
The new name is said to emphasise the aim of providing clients with a broader consumer perspective, to which end the company is also launching a new bi-annual publication, the Comley Report. This examines macro factors affecting today's consumer, such as the economy and demographic trends, and overlays this with the micro context of specific consumer motivations.
