Funds for Analytics Firm Nathean

Irish analytics firm Nathean Technologies has received EUR 800k in funding, and says it plans to hire up to ten new employees, double exports, and increase revenues by at least 50% this year.

Maurice LynchDublin-based Nathean offers a range of business intelligence solutions and self-service analytics tools, and provides data integration through project management, consultancy, model design, data extraction and resourcing.

The firm previously received a EUR 1m investment for expansion of its Logix Professional software suite, which integrates with multiple platforms and apps to provide data analysis and business insight. The funds were used to introduce cloud-based analytics for smart mobile devices, including the iPhone and iPad.

Nathean's latest investment, which has been generated by Enterprise Ireland and existing investors, will be used to recruit the new hires during the next 12 months and extend the reach of Logix to other International markets by 2012.
