IAB Opens Innovation and Learning Lab

In the US, the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) has opened the IAB Ad Lab, an 'online community center' above its New York office, where it says members can create new ad formats, build brands online and debate and anticipate the future of mobile advertising.

Mike ZaneisSituated above the IAB's offices in East 27th Street, New York, the lab features a space which can accommodate presentations for up to 74 participants. President and CEO Randall Rothenberg says the lab will provide a space where the digital world can 'come together for innovation, collaboration and learning'.

Mike Zaneis, SVP, Public Policy and General Counsel, comments: 'The Ad Lab was created precisely to facilitate conversations about what the interactive advertising industry is doing, where the industry is going and what we're doing to maximize the experience for both the provider and the consumer.'

In addition to 'thought leadership conversations' and presentations by industry leaders, the Ad Lab will host IAB Board and committee meetings, product demos, press and award events and networking receptions.
