Cint Partnerships Add to Student Sample Options

July 1 2011

Panel exchange operator Cint has announced new partnerships with operators of student panels, the UK's National Union of Students (NUS) and Student Beans, and Irish student panel W5.

The company operates the Cint Panel Exchange (CPX), a marketplace giving research buyers access to more than 5 million consumers in 40+ countries via panel owners who make their sample available but retain full ownership of them. The new partners add more than 17,000 members to Cint's current student base of 20,000 in Sweden.

UK MD Stephen Hughes says the deals will allow clients 'not only to target students by faculty, year of study and even by University attended but [also] to engage hard to reach youth demographics through existing panel partners' - due to the fact the panellists are registered to receive consumer surveys.

Cint says it expects a panel base of 8 million by the end of 2011. Based in Stockholm, Sweden, the company has offices in major cities across Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific and recently acquired mobile survey specialist Thumbspeak.
