Brand Driver Expands Senior Team

UK-based media, entertainment and leisure research specialist Brand Driver has expanded its management and research teams with four new appointments.

Dr Suzanne KingThe London-based agency offers a wide range of methodologies to develop, track and evaluate brands, content and marketing communications. In February it appointed former Future Foundation strategist Nick Rand as Research Director, responsible for qual research and B2B projects.

The latest hires include two Directors. Dr Suzanne King (pictured) will be responsible initially for developing in-house systems and for managing some of the company's existing accounts. She previously ran her own consultancy, People Science & Policy (PSP), which specialised in social research, public and stakeholder engagement and evaluation. During her career, she has also held senior positions at the Wellcome Trust, RSL Market & Social Responsibility (now Ipsos MORI), Abbey National and The Department of Employment.

Martyn U'Ren joins as a Director, from News International where he served as Insights Manager in the Business Intelligence Department, with overall responsibility for the company's 25,000-strong reader panel. Before this, he held media planning roles at The Evening Standard and PHD Media. At Brand Driver, he will build on the company's digital media expertise, exploring new methodologies.

Alan Worley joins as an Associate Director from King's former firm PSP, where he specialised in both qual and quant methods. His career to date has involved stints at BMRB Social Research and NOP Social Research.

Emma Hazou joins as a Senior Research Executive, tasked with managing international research across all sectors and helping to develop new business. She was previously a Senior Account Executive at brand and comms research specialist Hall & Partners.

Welcoming the new staff, MD Karen Wise said: 'The four people we are bringing into Brand Driver this summer will broaden our skills and resources and help move the company forward. These new appointments bring the mix of experience, knowledge, creativity and enthusiasm to help keep us at the forefront of research in the media, entertainment and leisure sectors.'
