July 29 2011

Hearsay's tools enable national businesses and their local branches to manage Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter pages. Through the firm's SaaS dashboard, users can tap into workflow and content management tools, as well as analytics across social media networks by region or by sub-region.

Yesterday, the company announced it had added several new features to its software, including an integrated social campaigns solution, which enables marketers to package Facebook tabs, posts and ads into a campaign that local staff can launch with a single click.

The new features also include a 'rogue page finder' for locating social media pages that use a company's brand, but are imposter accounts.

The latest round of funding was led by New Enterprise Associates (NEA), with participation from previous investor Sequoia Capital. NEA Partner Jon Sakoda joins the Hearsay Board of Directors.
