US-based customer analysis and targeting provider Segmint Inc. is to expand its business development efforts with the aid of a funding round including $250,000 from investment firm JumpStart Inc.
Tallmadge, OH-based Segmint develops software to help financial institutions analyse and group their customers based on spending habits, and then target advertising accordingly. The company raised a total of $2.5m from investors in the three years to November 2010. The latest round also includes capital from individual angel investors from Northeast Ohio.
