Current Analysis Hires Former INPUT CEO

In the US, online competitive intelligence provider Current Analysis has named former INPUT CEO Tim Dowd as its new President and Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Ray Keneipp who has been with the firm for the past 10 years.

Tim DowdLaunched in 1997, Current Analysis provides technology companies with competitive analysis and tactical advice.

Dowd joins with more than 25 years' experience in leading information and technology-enabled service organizations.

Mostrecently, he worked at government market intelligence specialist INPUT, where he was hired to drive operating performance and establish the firm as a thought leader in its field. Prior to this, he served as President of USIS (now Altegrity) Commercial Services Division, and as SVP of ChoicePoint.

Dowd began his career in 1986 with General Electric Company, and during his 16 year tenure with the company, he progressed through several leadership roles in GE's Global Exchange Services (GXS) group and later in GE Capital, serving as EVP and Officer of Calling Card Services and EVP and Officer of Sales and Marketing.
