In the UK, former Vivid Interface data and customer research execs Lisa Holt, Jo Walther and Paul Kemp have formed a new quant and qual agency called Zing Insights.
East Anglia-based Zing offers a full range of services from depth interviews, desk research and online surveys to observations, and also offers to help clients interpret their existing data.
Holt explains: ‘As well as collecting bespoke or primary research data, we work with our clients with data they already have - helping them to understand their data, looking at things like marketing effectiveness, tracking and interpreting customer engagement, conversion rates and timings, analysis of media spend and schedule, customer churn analysis and pattern finding and so on.’
Holt has more than 20 years’ market research industry experience. Most recently she spent five years as Director of Research at Vivid Interface, and prior to this, 11 years as Insights Manager for newspaper publisher Archant.
Walther worked for Vivid Interface for more than ten years, latterly as Operations Director, while Kemp spent ten years in senior roles, most recently as Operations Manager at Vivid Interface, before which he was Data Manager at RBA Research and spent five years at Nunwood.
