New Features for Sampling and Panel Software

September 19 2011

Surrey, UK-based MARSC Ltd has upgraded its sampling and panel management software. New features include options for alternative sampling methods and the import of external list files so as to target or exclude certain groups.

Officially launched at the ESOMAR Congress in Amsterdam this week, MARSC.net v1.3 also boasts improved profile and activity filtering, and the storing of more data on sample profile and outcome via user definable Metadata fields.

New custom dimensions allow the combination of interlocking and non-interlocking sample selection methodologies, while users can now override the standard random selection method to prioritise certain sample groups - for example those surveyed less recently or more inclined to respond.

The import feature allows external files storing a list of panellist IDs to be used as the base, or as an exclusion criterion for sampling - for example selecting or excluding those purchashing products over the last 4 weeks.

MD Nicky Forsyth comments: 'this new release is a major enhancement of MARSC.net and now provides fully featured sampling for all sizes of panels'.
