Spedding Joins P\S\L Group as Research CEO

In the US, healthcare research group P\S\L has appointed Michael Spedding to the newly created role of Domain CEO, Market Research. A former CEO, Geographies at Synovate, Spedding recently founded investment firm PharmaGems.

Based in the company's New York office, Spedding will be responsible for all the group's market research businesses in Europe and the Americas. On joining the company in December, his key tasks will include broadening product portfolios, expanding geographical presence and growing the management team.

Spedding's start-up PharmaGems invests in and partners with businesses in healthcare marketing services. His previous job at Synovate involved managing the group's business units in Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Australia and New Zealand. Prior to this he was CEO of Synovate Healthcare. He also held COO and CFO positions within Virgin, UBM & NOP World.
