Share Sale Cements US Branding Alliance

September 19 2011

San Francisco, US-based employer branding and employee engagement specialist Evviva Brands is to sell 20 percent of its shares to The Liquid Agency, based in San Jose, CA. Liquid's CEO, Scott Gardener, will join Evviva's board and the two firms will work in close partnership.

Formed only two years ago, Evviva's team of employee engagement, brand and communications specialists develop brands for clients such as Marriott International, based on the firm's own process, 'inside-insight', to help them attract and retain good people.

As a result of the deal, transaction, Evviva will itself be branded as 'A Liquid Agency', but will continue under its independent management team led by founder and CEO, Dr. David Kippen.

According to Dr. Kippen, the partnership is 'an important step' and mutually beneficial, giving his own firm the chance 'to leverage Liquid's impressive strength delivering brand strategy as well as creative execution across multiple disciplines.' He adds: 'When the deal is concluded, clients of both agencies will be able to revitalize their brands from the inside out, addressing every brand touch-point, audience and equity.'

According to Gardener, integrating Evviva's expertise with Liquid's existing offerings will give clients'a significantly enhanced and more rounded suite of skills and services.' He adds: 'I'm personally delighted that David has joined Liquid's leadership team - his vision and experience will be of great value as we continue to grow and establish a wider global footprint.'

Liquid was founded in 2000 in San Jose, California, and has offices in Portland, Santiago de Chile and London. Web sites: www.liquidagency.com and www.evvivabrands.com .
