Metrix Appoints Former Synovate Australia MD

In Australia, market research and business information provider Metrix Consulting has appointed former Synovate Australia MD Julie Beeck as Executive Director, responsible for growth and development of the team.

Perth-based Metrix extracts meaning from marketing and business information such as customer research, CRM data, transactional data, web stats and social media and provides clients with insights and analytics.

Beeck joins with more than 20 years' market research experience, with a background in customer satisfaction, brand, communications and advertising research, along with usage and attitude studies and segmentation.

She worked for Synovate - and its predecessor Market Equity - for 18 years, and was promoted to the post of MD of Synovate Australia in 2008.

In her new role, Beeck joins Metrix' senior team, which comprises specialists in qual and quant research, market intelligence and business analytics.
