AdSafe Upgrades 'Brand Safety' Product

In the US, AdSafe Media - which provides a rating and verification standard for the online advertising industry - has added a real-time URL analyzer tool to its Network Monitor product.

Scott KnollNew York-headquartered AdSafe uses proprietary algorithmic modeling and human verification to rate the 'brand safety' of content on commercially supported web pages. Its BrandSafe Firewall enables organisations to prevent ads from appearing on publisher web pages that do not conform to brand guidelines, and its Network Monitor platform helps users to identify and segment problematic site content.

Using the updated Network Monitor+ feature, clients can manually input a series of URLs and instantly receive brand safety ratings for those specific web pages.

CEO Scott Knoll comments: 'Publishers and ad networks use our ratings to improve their Media Risk Index (MRI) - the overall content quality of their network. Now, with Network Monitor+, they can instantly check on the brand safety of specific pages.'
