In the US, consumer strategy firm Insight Research Group has named Dawn Henry to the newly created position of SVP, Insights and Strategy.
She joins after a dozen years at Diageo, where she started as Manager, Consumer Planning and rose by 2008 to VP, Consumer Planning, leading a team of planners working in marketing and innovation. Prior to Diageo, she worked at Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising. She holds a B.A. in Economics from Connecticut College.
Her new role involves managing key accounts and client relationships, overseeing day-to-day project management, and development and mentoring of the Insight team, as well as participation in the company's newly formed Management Team.
Co-CEO Boaz Mourad describes Henry as 'an extraordinary thinker and strategist' and adds: 'Her decade-plus of client-side experience overseeing strategy development for many brands ideally positions her for this leadership position.'
