ImpactRx Hires Consulting and Analytics Leader

In the US, pharma market research firm ImpactRx has appointed former IMS Health VP David Gascoigne, to lead the development of its Consulting and Analytics practice as EVP Consulting Analytics, Innovation and Alliances.

David Gascoigne ImpactRx uses proprietary panels, custom research and analytics to measure the impact of pharma promotion on physicians' prescribing behavior. In September, the firm acquired fellow physician behavior specialist TargetRx.

Gascoigne's experience includes the use of econometric and statistical modelling techniques to assess all aspects of promotion effectiveness in the healthcare space. Most recently, he worked at Accenture, where he was Senior Executive and Partner - Marketing Analytics. Prior to this, he spent more than seven years at IMS Health; most recently as VP, Promotion Management and VP, Brand and Commercial Strategy. Earlier, Gascoigne served as Global Head of Analytical and Media Development at Millward Brown.
